Bio-Diesel for the future
As far back as the 50’s Macnaught was providing machinery operators with quality Australian made manually operated fuel pumps for transferring diesel. Today that tradition continues with Macnaught remaining at the forefront of this technology producing high quality, efficient pumps that operators can rely on to get the job done.
Today, mankind’s environmental focus has led to the proliferation of planet friendly fuels that are produced from sources beyond the traditional ‘fossil fuel’ resource. One of those new fuels is bio-diesel produced from discarded vegetable oil and this product has become common place because of its ease of production and the availability of base product.
Macnaught recognises the need to manually transfer this product and as such has produced a dedicated range of products to suit. The GP-BD RAPIDFLO™ Bi-Lobe positive displacement pump is one such product. This new product, a variant on the venerable GP RAPIDFLO™ High Output pump, has been specifically produced for the special needs of Bio-Diesel. New high tech seals and bio-diesel compliant discharge hose together with the almost one litre per revolution output make this product ideal for use in transferring this environmentally friendly product from drum to machine or simply between drums.
To compliment this innovation, Macnaught has produced the DM100-BD positive displacement meter. Itself a variant on a tried and tested product, the new DM100-BD utilizes the highly accurate ‘oval gear’ technology that Macnaught metering products are renowned for but incorporates the special needs of the bio-diesel product. Still accurate to 80 litres per minute, this product is a perfect match for the GP-BD RAPIDFLO™ pump
Together, these two products can form the core of any manual bio-diesel transfer system that may be required. Macnaught stands behind both products with its 10 year warranty and parts guarantee to ensure a long and productive life.
