What is the right fluid dispensing system?

Workshop environments can be busy places and access to the right fluid when needed is of primary importance if a Service Manager is to keep his mechanical staff efficient. For decades Macnaught has been assisting in that efficiency by manufacturing and supplying fixed oil dispensing equipment for use with centrally located oil drums and tanks, overhead hose reel systems and robust end of hose oil control guns.

Not all small to medium sized mechanical workshops can justify the installation of these fixed systems so more flexible and portable solutions are needed. Macnaught's range of pumps, reels and oil control guns also lend themselves to providing cost effective portable solutions for workshop dispensing applications where bulk product is unnecessary or in convenient.

Trolley based systems offer the freedom to move a drum anywhere the oil is required. Macnaught has two such products in its range; both offering quality Australian made fluid handling equipment mounted to a heavy duty solid steel constructed trolley that allows easy low mounting of a full 205ltr drum.

The OS50G Trolley based oil dispensing system represents an economical system to both purchase and operate. The OS50G includes Macnaught’s Oilmaster® T series™ 3:1 air operated oil pump fitted directly to the 205l oil drum. The light weightT312T pump uses less air therefore requiring a smaller compressor and, with no need for pump lubrication, oily exhaust misting is a thing of the past. The heavy duty steel trolley with its low base makes mounting full drums a simple task and its rubber tyred wheels and braked castor make manoeuvring the system about the workshop easy and safe. Fixed to the trolley is one of Macnaught’s legendary RETRACTA® range of high impact, UV stable polypropylene cased oil reels c/w 10m of 12.5mm 400psi oil hose. The OS50 comes complete with all associated oil connection hoses and, in the case of the OS50G, Macnaught’s proven HG20R non metered oil control gun is also included in the package.

The OS50G’s big brother, the OS100G, rides on the same convenient trolley platform, incorporates the same sturdy RETRACTA oil reel and comes with the same oil control gun as standard but the OS100G has one major difference. Incorporating the up-specced R-series™ 3:1 pump in a ‘remote’ configuration the OS100G offers higher flow rates and mounting of the pump out on the trolley makes it easier when trying to change drums as you need only to remove the suction tube from the drum, not the entire pump.

The HG20R gun fitted to these oil dispense systems is a non metered, full flow item c/w inlet swivel and automatic non drip nozzle to prevent mess. If however, your application requires a metered oil control gun, the systems can be purchased without the HG20R by ordering the OS50B or OS100B. You can then add to the system from Macnaught’s range of HG metered oil control guns as you choose.
